Biography: Brian Hafner

Brian Hafner has been riding competitive dressage for the past eight years. Originally from Minnesota, he moved to Southern California to further his Dressage training. He has cliniced with Janet Brown, Jessica Rausenhousen, and most recently Robert Dover and Heinrich Haas from Germany.

In the summer of 2007, he traveled to Southern Germany to work for Heiner Haas as a working student. After he returned, he joined LFD Dressage as a working student.

With his 8 year old Hanoverian, Lombardi II, Brian earned his USDF Bronze medal and the pair were USDF Horse of the Year at First and Second Level. He is currently working towards competing in the 2009 NAYRC. When he’s not riding and working horses, Brian attends Cal State San Marcos where he is majoring in Business.
