Events:

Once a month, is "Wine Wednesday." Clients and friends meet around 5:30 on the patio for wine, h’ordeurves, and great conversation.

Each year, early in December is the Dove Hollow Christmas Party Hosted by Flo Brown. This is a well-attended and enjoyed event.

Previous events:

2008 USDF "L" Education Program sponsored by the California Dressage Society-San Diego Chapter. Dove Hollow Dressage Center was the site for three of the five sessions of the "L" Education Program. Flo Brown, a strong supporter of the local dressage chapter volunteered the facility for the lecture and riding portions of the program.



Clinics:

NEW! Jaime Amian is offering a free in-hand work demonstration clinic on Saturday, August 6, 2011. A Great opportunity not to be missed! A few selected riders can have a lesson with Jaime afterward. Jaime Melgarejo Amian Clinic
On February 5-6, 2010, Dove Hollow will host an introduction to our newest resident trainer, Jaime Melgarejo Amian. Jaime was a graduate of Escuela de Arte Ecuestre Costa del Sol in 1999 and received his Bereiter’s license in Germany in 2005. Jaime rode for Klaus Balkenol’s stable for 3 years and became the Chief Bereiter at Gut Auric, Germany. He has prepared many horses for the Bundeshat Championade in Verden, shown Grandprix in Spain, won Stallion Championships in New Zealand with horses from the Awakino Estate, as well as being their Chief Bereiter. In 2010 he served as head trainer at Nolte Simon in Germany before coming to the United States. He is currently training horses at Donna Richardson’s Foxrun Farm and has horses and clients at Dove Hollow. Jaime is especially gifted with in hand work. This is a special opportunity to ride, watch and listen to this experienced and talented young man.

An introductory rate of $80 will secure a spot in the clinic, and Dove Hollow will waive the customary haul-in fee of $20. Please contact Barbara Church at 760-845-3434 or barbarachurch@dovehollowdressage.com
